Working with infrared gas grilling technology I get to meet a lot of homeowners interested in utilizing the speed and amazing flavor that results from cooking with an infrared barbeque grill. Although some infrared grill manufacturers do include cooking instructions and timers with the grill, many clients still need to use the grill two or three times before feeling comfortable enough to eat what they cook.
I know the first time I grilled at 1400 degrees on an infrared gas grill, I thought the steaks looked perfect from the outside. When I cut them open on a plate the insides were completely raw. My second excursion produced the opposite result. The third time I cooked with an infrared gas grill, the food was perfectly textured and at the perfect temperature. Needless to say, I did not read the manual, although I do recommend you do read your manual.
